Dan moved to Citrus County in 1990. Started working at Citrus Memorial Hospital in 2008 as a sterile processing technician. Attended University of North Florida and graduated from the College of Central Florida in 2012 with ADN. Beginning career as a registered nurse at Citrus Memorial Hospital in ICU. Worked as charge nurse and nurse preceptor with additional duties as clinical EMR superuser. Duties included attending sepsis alerts, codes, and managing unit staffing. Graduated from College of Central Florida first BSN class in 2015. Graduated from the University of South Florida with MSN/FNP. Obtained board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Have worked at Citrus Cardiology Consultants PA with Dr. Nerella since 2020.
