Carrie Aniello, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She became a Registered Nurse in 2010 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Simmons University in 2018, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.
Carrie began her nursing career in 2010, caring for acutely ill patients on the Progressive Care Unit at Mease Countryside Hospital. After moving back to Lake county where she was raised, she continued on the path caring for patients on the Intermediate Care Unit at UF Health The Villages. These experiences provided a strong clinical foundation before she earned her Master of Science in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Carrie has a passion for the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease and is dedicated to helping patients achieve better heart health through compassionate, evidence-based care. Since joining Citrus Cardiology in 2014, she has built lasting relationships with both her patients and fellow healthcare professionals, taking pride in providing personalized care and helping patients feel informed and supported throughout their healthcare journey.
Outside of the office, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. As a family, they love exploring new places, staying active, and making lasting memories together. She is equally passionate about motherhood and is committed to building a strong foundation that helps her children grow into kind, confident, and compassionate individuals.
