Dr. Satish Goel, MD, Electrophysiology Specialist

Dr. Satish Goel has recently joined Citrus Cardiology Consultants.  Specializing in electrophysiology, Dr. Goel has been in practice for over 20 yrs and has performed over 3000 ablation procedures. He has been a principle investigator in many research studies for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation (Afib).

Most cardiologists can manage Afib but an electrophysiologist is specially trained to treat this specific conditon. Dr. Goel specializes in treating Afib with Ablation, Medication Therapy, and the Watchman device.

Dr. Goel completed his Doctor of Medicine at the All India Institute of Medical Science in Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, India.  Soon after he completed his internship, residency, and fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y..  Dr. Goel was elected as a Fellow in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Montefiore Medical Center directly after his fellowship.
He is certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Cardiac Electrophysiology.
