About Dr. Alejandro Caballero

Dr. Alejandro Caballero brings decades of experience in cardiovascular medicine to the new Tavares office. He is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology, and is a Fellow of several prestigious organizations, including the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Caballero earned his medical degree from Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru, and completed advanced training in cardiology and internal medicine, including residencies at the University of Miami School of Medicine. His extensive career includes both private practice and hospital-based care, with affiliations at Florida Hospital Waterman and UF Health Leesburg Regional Medical Center.

Known for his thorough, patient-focused approach, Dr. Caballero has built a strong reputation for delivering life-saving care and long-term cardiovascular management.
